I’ve been playing Phoenix Wright for only two days and I already wanna write a fanfic about Penny giving Maya a tour of the studio
These games are so fun (and yes this is my first time playing them)

You a fan of Supergiant’s Games? What do you think of them?
I love them!
Hades took my top spot, but Bastion was my #1 before Hades came out.
Transistor is SO GOOD, and Pyre was unique but ultimately not super my speed.
Overall their games are wonderful and I’ve enjoyed them all.
You seem like the kind of person that would enjoy hearing the fact I’m going one on one with someone in a Tolkien trivia contest tonight
good luck omg!
Oh. Oh no. Why is everyone reblogging the wooden shoe thing. Where did it appear so that now apparently everyone is aware of it
Hades 2 and I visited Circe where she gave me the “get big” boost and Melinoe actually got bigger but her voice also dropped a bit and I just
Hitting a bit of a wall in Hades 2.
Figured I would keep at Chronos so I could continue that story. Did not figure on how many times you had to beat him (also apparently it’s maybe changed? I swear when I first got the incantation for Dissolution of Time it was 5 Z-sands required, but then I got my 6th and all of a sudden it said it was 7 required??). And it’s just all getting a little…. Much? And unfortunately the story this time doesn’t make me want to keep beating the final boss like the first one did. In Hades you were beating your dad so you could escape and see your mom! That’s awesome and a very good reason to escape!
In Hades 2 you’re beating your grandfather so you can astral project back in time to your brothers dreams where you two make a plan. Like…. That’s kinda boring. It feels like not as much is getting accomplished. Feels like such a step down from the first game.
Throw in the fact that I looked up how many times you had to beat Chronos (I was getting frustrated) only to see that I also have to beat Typhon? Like several times? I’m having so much trouble on the surface, I’ve only made it to Typhon a few times and I get absolutely manhandled every time. I was running the underworld a bunch because the surface was becoming a pain in my ass.
I don’t know man. I know I’m doing fine, I haven’t even done 40 runs yet so I’m doing all right in terms of like, I’m beating enemies with regularity and most runs end in a final boss fight. I’m good at this game.
I just don’t know how much better I can be
I applied for a job in an area I’m moving to for a job I have HAD IN THE PAST and they just sent me an email that they’re pursuing other candidates. What. It’s for a job I’ve literally already worked. What are you talking about
Continuing to advance and get better in Hades 2 (Hades II). I beat Chronos once so I decided to start focusing on the surface. Was doing well on a run and was proud I made it to Eris, and I managed to beat her on my first try! I was feeling pretty good.
And then I just somehow…. Kept going? I must have gotten lucky with death defiances cause I basically managed to oops my way past Prometheus and get all the way to Typhon. I got whooped pretty handily but still. I can’t believe I got that far.
(Side note: holy SHIT Olympus is fucking tough. Like yeah so is the summit but Olympus just feels mean. Also I get the love people have for Prometheus)
The game is so good but I’m having the same problem I had with the last one, where I discovered what build I’m best with and continue to repeat it in the hopes of building off that success. Which like, is fine! But there’s so much to explore in this game that it also makes me feel bad that I’m not branching out more and trying more variety. But I also know I need to cause I can’t just beat Chronos every time, dying is how some of the stories progress and that’s also what I’m interested in.
Hades 2 continues to be incredible, it’s getting to the point where it’s all I wanna play. I wish I could dedicate just one day to playing it for like 7 hours and really do some damage on it.
(Also, my best builds are usually built around Hephaestus and the big Axe. Hit em as hard as possible, gotta love the volcanic strike and anvil ring)
