Wells Goes Full Hero Mode
Nobody expected Wells to nerd out like this.
Sure, everyone knew he loved a good suit. The clean lines. The tight fit. The way a powerful silhouette could turn a man into something bigger than himself. But for Nerd Out Week, Wells stopped pretending it was just about style and finally went all in.
Golden City Comic Con gave him the perfect excuse.
He showed up in a custom gold-and-black spandex cosplay, built like something straight off the cover of a premium collector comic. Metallic gold stretched across his chest, arms, and legs, black accents sharpening every line of muscle, the whole look gleaming under the convention lights. He did not look like a fan wearing a costume. He looked like the final form of the hero everyone else was there to photograph.
At first Wells tried to act casual. Just another guy walking the floor. Then the reactions started. Cameras turned.
Artists stared. Collectors called him over to pose in front of rare covers and giant hero banners. A few people even asked which booth had hired him. That was the moment Wells stopped holding back.
He started nerding out properly.
Talking lore with total strangers. Comparing legendary suit designs. Debating which transformations hit hardest. Which heroes looked strongest. Which costumes actually understood the male form. The more Wells talked, the more obvious it became that this was real. He was not faking fandom.
He genuinely loved powerful heroes, iconic suits, and the fantasy of stepping into something larger than ordinary life.
By the end of the convention, Wells was not just wearing cosplay. He was inhabiting it.
Standing taller. Smirking harder. Letting the gold catch every light like he had always belonged in that world. Not just some jock in a shiny suit. Not just a guy playing dress-up for the weekend.
A golden comic-book powerhouse, fully activated.
