I don’t know what my life would be without Mara Dyer. Seriously. I picked up Unbecoming from the library, because I’d heard so many good things about it and wanted to give it a shot. Needless to say, I wasn’t disappointed. I am in love with this series, and just when I thought I couldn’t love it more, Retribution arrived. I literally tore the packaging down when the book arrived in the mail. I was jumping up and down, hugging the book and laughing like a crazy person but oh well. It was definitely worth the wait.

Retribution was all I’ve ever wanted for this series. It made me cry, made me burst out laughing, and from time to time, it broke my heart. I love how you gave us the answers we so wanted not all at once, but part by part so that we wouldn’t overload. And most of all, I love how you didn’t give us Mara’s real name. I don’t know, but for some reason I don’t want to find out. There is power in a name, and I love Mara’s name as it is. Nothing more, nothing less. One more thing, I LOVE how Mara and Noah’s names literally spell M.A.D.N.E.S.S. It was a nice touch. Am I sad that Mara’s journey is over? Absolutely. But every good thing must come to an end, and this is where Mara’s story has to end. I want it to continue, but at the same time I like where it ended. So basically, I am going through that phase when you finish the last book in a series, and it’s the most bittersweet feeling in the world.

I just can’t thank you enough. There aren’t enough words for me to describe my love for this series. Thank you Michelle, for writing a book that kept me up all night reading even though I had school the next day. Thank you for giving me a haunting, compelling, sometimes horrifying love story that made me always want more. Thank you, for Mara, who taught me how to stay strong even when shit hits the fan. Thank you, for Jamie and his hilarious jokes that made the story lighter. And thank you, for Noah Shaw, for my ultimate book boyfriend who is passionate, sweet, funny and incredibly sexy.

I will be with you till the end of it; whatever you write I will read and love and cherish with all my heart. You inspired me to write and also draw, and I can never thank you enough for that. I don’t know how the hell you came up with the story of Mara Dyer, but I am so glad you did. You are my favorite author, without a doubt.
