KH Rogue Nebula Spotlight: “Immortals” Writer Q&A With Vauvenal

Another great piece we have in this event is by Nerro for the story “Immortals” by Vauvenal. The mods were very impressed with the progress of this art, and we’re very pleased to give it its own spotlight. The writer kindly consented to a small Q&A about the piece, as well!

Would you consider this a cover piece, and interstitial piece, or a back cover piece? Where would this piece be placed in the text for peak effectiveness? Definitely intersticial, right in the middle of the fight scene.

Does this piece add any new dimensions to the text?  While the story is written from Isa's perspective, the pic adds another point of view and enables you to grasp the whole situation.

Does this piece highlight any of your favorite parts of the story you’ve written? I loved writing the fight scene, and the dynamic in the pic really emphasizes it!

Is there any part of the original sketch that stood out to you? The really dynamic perspective and seeing the wolf I designed come to life!

Had the honor to color @nerroart ‘s amazing lineart of her magus version of  Aizawa! 

It was so fun to color someone else’s lineart and focus on some of my color techniques I know I’m lacking in...
