actually as of sun & moon flareon is no longer the only fully evolved fire type pokemon that cannot learn solar beam !! the list now includes incineroar, oricorio (baile style), salazzle, blacephalon, and cinderace :D

i read shuuen when i was 12 so i was extremely embarrassing abt it and liking c-ta so much i was like obsessed with him when i got a lil older i tried to repress it by genuinely trying to hate him but alas here i am again, putting “c-ta stan and PROUD” in my twitter bio....... truly no one hates c-ta more than c-ta fans

LITERALLY LMAO i was so embarrassed i went on this like. campaign that d-ne/DB was better and tried to convince myself i disliked c-ta and in the end i came around the other side and accepted that i would stan forever instead of liking him “ironically”

today i was scrolling tumblr and also petting my cat at the same time so i was in “love cute kitty” mode and you put vincent nightray on my dash and my kitty brain went “him baby” and i am Not Happy about it. still love u tho anyway i followed cuz you were one of the rare shuuen fans who were openly like “homophobia is bad actually” and i was so grateful i felt it was worth following u for and i was right

I FORGOT HOW BAD THE HOMOPHOBIA IN SHUUEN FANDOM IS I erased it from my mind... The homophobia in canon is very. Well. These are just conceptually kind of homophobic characters to write. But there's no active/deliberate homophobia and each of the cast is at least Complex if not sympathetic and I'm gay and I like it so the homophobia is fine actually. Your story can be kind of homophobic if the way it is homophobic is also the main reason I (gay) like the series

And then the entire Shuuen fandom called them slurs and shipped DC because epic lesbian erasure (+ also how many people actually think C-ta isn't gay like they are lying through their teeth w that one.)
