Hello there! This is such a lovely question, I'd be more than happy to answer it for ya~
So, to start off, Sonia and I have been friends since we were just lil' tots! So we've already known each other for quite a bit!
I remember always having "feelings" for her, but I never quite knew how to place it. I remember I started catching more romantic feelings sometime during my... 9th year of schooling? Course, I didn't realize it then, thought I had just gone mad! I mean, I only dated boys up until then, so when I realized I was having those feelings for my best friend who was a girl, I was right confused!
I thought the feelings would disappear on their own, but they never did. Every time I saw her my chest would tighten, and it felt as if I had butterfrees flyin' in the pit of my stomach. I went through all that for a YEAR, before I couldn't take it anymore... I had to tell her. Even if she ended up not liking me back too, I couldn't just continue keep those feelin's bottled up in me, so I finally did it. I asked her out!
You can probably guess what happened after that, but it was such a weight off my chest when she told me "Yes!" as it turned out she was havin' similar feelings about me as well.
Those feelings are still there, but they're more manageable now. Everytime I see her, I keep fallin' in love with her over and over again... And now instead of pinin' for her like I used to, now I can go up to her, wrap my arms 'round her and love her as much as I want to!
