1.) If you could have any job in the world what job would it be?
My long term career goal is to become and engineer (probably civil) because I want to end up being this super awesome high flying business woman with a killer apartment and the money to afford all the fandom merch I want. But my idea ideal career would be in acting, I can't imagine what it feels like to be that influential and in such a passionate job and have that power of impressionability on a fanbase.
This is kinda tricky because I don't tend to go for OTPs but recently I've been watching The L Word (if you've never seen it you must, its available on Netflix, there will be spoilers in this post) and I am in love with Bette and Tina. They are adorable, but they split up in Season 1 I think because Bette was cheating (dammit Bette!) but it was because they were trying for a baby and Tina miscarriaged and neither of them could hande it, but it looks like they might be getting back together and Tina is pregnant again (she was before they broke up, but Bette didn't know) And Bette has decorated a room in her house for the baby <3 TMI?
3.) If you could create a tv show what would it be about, what would it be called, and who would you cast?
Okay, if you didn't read my lesbian fic at the time (why not!? but you can find it here) but my TV show would be like that, a high flying career woman with an artistic wife/girlfriend. But that would just be like the first episode and everyone would be like oh great a lesbian sitcom, good. BUT then in the next episode it turns out that its actually an apocalyptic drama, centred around this lesbian couple (Rosemary and Eleanor?) and how people are still dicks about their sexuality despite the fact that New York is being ripped apart and then because Rose and Ellie are the perfect duet they kick ass and save even the homophobic people.
I would cast Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Lawrence as leads I think, but Samuel L Jackson would have to be in there somewhere, maybe as a bad guy, maybe instead of zombies everyone turns into him instead. idk.
4.) Name 3 friends and why you’re friends with them
Whoa a whole three friends.....
Okay first off - Mel - fitzsimnnons
I met Mel at a selection weekend for an international Guide trip to New Jersey, America (from England fyi) and I remember thinking, "Mel seems really rad I hope I can be friends with her" and yeah I don't know we hit is off really well and we ended both on the trip, and in the same group and we've been friends ever since (that was in 2012). I think our friendship have gone from strength to strength because we have a lot of common interests and views but we hardly ever see each other atm, but our Christmas meet up is happening yo and yeah I trust her completely. (I have also concluded that she is in fact really rad).
Secondly - Charlotte - charlyfozz
Charlotte used to be a guide at the Guide unit where I am a leader, and I'd been there for like two years before we ever properly spoke, I mean we weren't hostile towards each other or anything we were just kinda mutual acquaintances. But gradually we found that we had more in common and then kind of inadvertently Charlotte met Mel and then we both found out that the other had tumblr and then we bonded over that? (idk if this is right but you'll probs correct me :) and then it really kinda snowballed and we've been in constant text/facebook conversation since like October last year, and ugh she's just so damn supportive of me and we can go from talking about weird fandom stuff, to the patriarchal injustice to really personal stuff and yeah, you're hella rad Charlotte.
I've spoken loads about these two cuties so I'll leave it at two friends
5.) Place you would love to travel to and why
I would love to go to 'La Tomatina' which is a Spanish festival, held on the last Wednesday in August in Bunol. And basically everyone throws tomatoes and it looks awesome.
6.) Place you would never want to travel to and why
I don't know, there isn't really anywhere that I don't want to go, because I love travelling a LOT but there are a lot of places I would be apprehensive about going, because then can be dangerous (especially for women dammit)
7.) If you could have any super power what would it be?
Telekinesis, it can be really useful, or I could use it to destroy you.
8.) Would you be a hero or a villain? (Cont. from question 7)
Hero, they always get the girl. But tbf the evil guys always get better costumes so idk It would depend, also I'd probably get into more films as a hero.
At the moment I am drinking GALLONS of tea in fact I'm drinking a mug of it while I type this. But my favourite soft drink is Irn Bru, Scottish and FAB.
10.) Tumblr blog that’s your favorite?
UGH THATS NOT FAIR. There's so many that I love, and there's loads of bloggers that I love as well who always like my personal posts and selfies and stuff. I think my favourite 'popular' blog atm is battlestar-athena because she posts a lot of feminist stuff, and some beautiful space pictures and good TV stuff.
11.) Would you rather be an angel or demon?
I think a demon. Mainly because I feel like they would have the same powers as an angel but more freedom to use them, because I feel like God would be a tighter boss than Lucifer. Also I'm not cool with stuff like burning homosexuals and smiting down women who want abortions.
