NEST Thoughts

Now that it's been almost a week and I've had some time to come back down to earth and reflect, I wanted to talk a little bit about my NEST experience

I want to start off by saying that events like this aren't all sunshine and rainbows like you might expect. Honestly, the first 24 hours or so were rough. Feelings of anxiety, loneliness, isolation, and insecurity clouded my mind. Socializing isn't easy for me, so big gatherings like this are challenging. However, hour by hour, things slowly got easier and I eventually found my footing

The most rewarding part of this experience for me wasn't necessarily the play or kink stuff, but the connections and sense of community. I stepped out of my comfort zone and talked to so many new people, and I'm so glad I did! Whether it was connecting over a shared love of music, or just a passing "how's your weekend been so far?", every interaction I had over the weekend gave me hope. I've never met such an inclusive, welcoming group of people in my life. As someone who's spent his whole life trying to make myself small and fly under the radar, it was inspiring to see so many people being unapologetically themselves. Ok, now on to the kink stuff 👀

I only played 4 times, but I got to try out so many new things! Stocks, being gagged, two public scenes 👀, e-stim, pinwheels, and being tickled while being tied to another lee (one of my all-time fantasies 🫠). I'm so grateful to everyone who made me suffer over the weekend 🥰. Feel free to ask for more details, but I'll leave it at that for now

Overall, this was both one of the most difficult and most fulfilling weekends of my life. I had taken 3 years off from in-person kink events due to some personal mental health stuff and I wasn't sure if I wanted to come back. Now that I'm back, I feel like I've found my people. I feel like I'm home ❤️
