Updating after a year of updates
A short little update on what I have been doing the last couple of days. When I started this project it was around januari 2018, at the time the stable release was 2017.3. During the first months of the project I didn’t really use Unity because I was still figuring out, what kind of game I was going to make and I was still learning how 3D modeling, texturing and rigging worked in video games. As of now I have a playable character with almost all functionality working but no level design or puzzles are made.
For this reason I have done a lot of research because I wasn’t sure what the pros and cons where. I have to say I was a bit afraid of breaking everything, but luckily this wasn’t the case. I only encountered some issues with the Post Processing Stack v2, but this was resolved within minutes. I can’t wait to get my hands on nested prefabs, prefab mode and the new stuff Unity 2018.3 has to offer.
