So, in that new fic you published, you mentioned that Tang had to bite Pigsy first to get it through his head that he wanted to be mated. How did that go?

as well was one can expect actually. Pigsy and Tang has been married and living together for several years at this point. But the catalyst that started the whole mating mark thing was when another demon took interest into Tang and tried to go about things the old fashion way.
You see. Pigsy thinks himself above all his demon instics so he never went through the kidnapping, courting bracelets, and eventually mating mark with Tang. He went a more human rout of just asking the guy out a date, and feeding him a lot, and eventually over time asking them to be his boyfriend and eventually marriage.
So Tang isn't familiar with the demon way and gets kidnapped by this demon
And Tang is like "hey! Take me home! I already have a husband." And the demon only laughs at him and is like.
"the fuck you don't! You don't even have the scent marks from a nest much less a mating mark."
And that absoulty confuses Tang who forces this poor demon to explain what he means and then he has to lay out ALL demon mating customs including a mating mark going as far as to say "he clearly isn't serious about you if he hasn't marked you" which absoulty offends Tang but before he can claw thire eyes out Pigsy shows up finally to save his lover and kicks the demons ass.
So no Tang knows Pigsy has been holding back on him and he dose his own research on demons and finds out marks are like marriage rings, exchanged during ahem mating to seal a spiritual bond between partners. So he's been married to human standards but not demon standards. And that kind of hurts Tang.
So Tang asked Pigsy about it the next time they are having sex and Pigsy REFUSES to mark Tang. Saying it's barbaric and old fashioned and he didn't want to hurt Tang. Tang understands and backs off about it....for awhile.
Untill word gets around there is a pretty human who is into demons and unclaimed... And suddenly Tang is getting kidnapped every other weekend by demon suitors trying to impress him with thire home and offer courting bracelets to him. Pigsy saves him every time but it's getting old quick.
So the next time Pigsy and Tang are making love he just goes for it. He bites Pigsy claiming him. Pigsy becomes overwhelmed with his instincts in that moment. His brain screaming mate.mate.mate. over and over so he can't help himself when he bites Tang back marking him (on a side note it becomes the best sex they have 😉)
Tang and Pigsy once they comes down from the mating mark high Pigsy relaizes whet they did and panics but Tang calms him down and is like. "Dude. I want to stop being kidnapped. And I want to be married to you in YOUR traditions too." Pigys is still mad and also kind of shocked because he never picture TANG to be the one to mark him.
So after some talking they end up being happy with the outcome and Tang even convinced Pigsy to give into some of his demon instics in private like nesting and such. Tang stops getting kidnapped. So everyone wins.
