⚔️- To hear what drop you receive for killing my muse and 🏹 - To hear what drop I think my muse would get for killing yours!
(Gonna put under a cut for the sort of spoilery content - I took inspiration from something I accidentally learned about 8.1. Also sorry for the delay on this I just couldn’t get into the right mindset to write the last few days. Thanks for reading if you venture under the cut.)
The bear was beserk. That was the only logical conclusion the priestess could divine from the way the animal was behaving. Ne’suna had watched it tear through two Sentinels. Without hesitation, she drew her bow. Her hands steady she lined up the shot and as the bear began to attack the next of her sisters, Ne’suna let the arrows fly.
The shots were true. Risri felt the first hit her leg, then another. Soon she resembled a pin cushion. Then one hit her eye, digging straight into the druid’s brain. The shift happened even as she fell.
The last arrow found its most deadly mark, but the sight of the Kaldorei erupting from the bear fur almost undid her. Ne’suna ran to where her fellow elf lie. Recognition had her kneeling at Risri’s side. Taking the camera from Risri’s neck, Ne’suna said a prayer to Elune. The priestess accidentally triggered the flash as she was surrounded by the turned Sentinels. As they stood stunned by the bright light, Ne’suna realized Risri had not been beserk, she’d been trying to release their sisters from the horror of the Banshee Queen’s ultimate insult.

And the other side...
Risri followed the haphazard trail. The entire camp had been turned by the Banshee’s minions. Risri and Dragaur had tracked down each one to put her kin to their final rest. All that remained was the Priestess.
Ne’suna carried the stack of robes, heedless to the one who tracked her. The thoughts were fragmented but the order to see her brethren in blessed robes seemed to be the one thing she could latch onto.
The bear charged at the sight of the glowing mooncloth robe. Her roar as she tore into the former Priestess’s back the only warning she recieved. The robes scattered to the ground one catching in the wind and blowing in a macabre dance. As the undead glow left Ne’suna’s eyes, Risri was at her side whispering softly in Darnassian for Elune to take her child back.
The sound of a Horde rally horn broke her prayer. Gathering the robes quickly, Risri set fire to the Priestess’s corpse and shifted, flying back to the safety of the Alliance lines.
Carcanet of the Hundred Magi: What personality traits does your muse desire in a partner and which do they despise?
Most of all, Illdraes desires an equal in his partner. He craves someone who will understand his strange quirks and tendencies, especially his apathetic nature which he’s realized requires an immense amount of patience on his partner’s part. Confidence is definitely attractive, as is good wit, so long as it doesn’t come off as pompous enough to rival a Highborne. While he looks for someone who is reliable and even-tempered, a certain flare to their personality is what draws him in usually. He likes a partner who knows how to be serious in the right circumstances but isn’t a prude to wild ideas and antics.
An overly needy partner is perhaps his biggest turn-off. Illdraes is a business man who can disappear for days at a time and if a partner can’t deal with that then it simply won’t work. He finds impatience to be perhaps one of the most exhausting personality traits. Prolonged interactions with someone who requires him to dote on them slowly wears at him until he has lost complete respect for them. Tagging @voidwife since she sent in the same ask! (thanks very much!)
Natyl’ir has very little faith in herself, it boosts her confidence when people tell her that they’re appreciative of what she’s done for them and that they have faith in her abilities.
Y’Sorah’s confidence is already skyhigh but she loves it when people praise her magic abilities. That’s always something that she’s been self-concious of, so when people compliment it: it’s a big ego booster.
Yserdrel’s confidence is boosted when people compliment her combat skills. Since losing her eye, she’s worked endlessly on perfecting her swordsmanship, trying to get it where her archery was in terms of skill level.
<3 I will admit im... fuzzy on lore and with not solid aging rules it’s difficult for me to place what events Amondria has been through but this is far too fun/interesting lol. Something of note: I am Ignoring BfA completely with my Autumngroves. Things in that expansion are not happening to them---Cascading Conflict: What wars did your muse participate in? How has their battle-borne history shaped their perception of current and future conflict? Going with Amondria. Amondria has fought in several wars while in the Sentinels and again now as a Death Knight. (Sorry i can’t be more specific im a doof lol)With Amondria her history of battle has made her less trusting. She will question your motives and your stance on things around her. Although she has fought a lot she has become more open-minded. She has seen members of the horde and other alliance races fight just as hard and fiercely as she has. The constant warring has made her tired of it and she’s at the point where she is just ready for all the faction conflict to stop.hopefully this was actually a good answer lol. thank you so much for sending this in <3
Moonlit Musings: What type of relationship does your muse have with Elune? How strong is their faith in the lunar goddess? Why?
Elune is the Goddess. Risri believe she sees and knows all. Her devotion to Elune is not fanatical but she is a follower. She respects the teachings and has faith in Elune as the top of the pantheon of the Wild Gods.
The utmost certainty that Kaldorei have for the Goddess’ existence, the proof of her powers, and fact that many have felt Elune’s presence is an interesting concept to me. That you can experience Cenarius and have potentially seen him is further proof of the existence of “higher powers”. I’m not overly religious, but I imagine having tangible proof that God and Goddess exists would give a certain peace to one’s mind and the knowledge would have you behaving in accordance with the teachings of that faith.
Tanefrun hasn’t grown up with certain traditions, so she always takes ones that are unfamiliar to her with a grain of salt. However, she is learning! She’s become more familiar with certain rituals, holidays, and lore of her people. It’s quite exciting!
