Heartbreak High: 5 Reasons To Watch This Show
The new Netflix animated movie “Over The Moon” it's so fresh!
[no spoilers review]
with great characters, gorgeous animation, interesting religious background and great songs!
i totally fell in love with this movie!!! it's a must-watch!
the story is about a girl named fei fei who goes to the moon to prove everybody that the moon goddess, “chang'e” is real. and the colors are so bright, the songs are so catchy and the characters are so cute! everything is on point! (i wouldn't expect any less from the director who worked in “the little mermaid”, “beauty and the beast” and “aladdin”, glen keane).
the colors reminded me of “coco”. i'm completely in love! the songs are so good, the story.... everything! the chinese culture looks so beautiful in this movie - i’m not chinese, so i don't know about the accuracy, but this movie made me wanted to know everything about the legend of chang’e and houyi, “the moon goddess”.
there are many chinese voice actors too, which made me very happy! Phillipa Soo completely killed it playing Chang’e!!!
please, animated movies lovers like me, let's give this awesome movie some love!!!
TW: The Devil All The Time Review
(TW) The Devil All the Time
Storyline: 8/10, The Devil All the Time is one of those movies where tragedy just constantly follows the main character – Arvin Russell. I thought the story was interesting and I liked the fact that there was a narrator giving us spoilers for things that were going to happen later on in the film. I wouldn’t describe the film as a horror film but it can make you feel a little uneasy sometimes and I think that having a narrator who kind of spoils what is going to happen takes the edge of off things and makes it easier to watch. I liked how there was a main storyline as well as subplots which later converged into the main plot.
Protagonist: 7.5/10, We see Arvin become more and more like the man his father wanted him to be, most likely as an attempt to try and honour his father’s memory. Arvin makes these decisions to do morally bad things such as murder but to people who constantly do inherently bad things. Even though he does these things you do not hate him as you know deep down, he is a good person who has had quite a tragic life.
Antagonist: 7/10, There are a few antagonists in this story, but I will be focusing on the Preacher. From the beginning the Preacher was a little gross to me, well really gross. I just could not get over the way he dipped his fingers in the chicken liver and licked them. I just kept on thinking about how dirty they could have been. As someone who you would expect to be understanding, he insults the Russell family and their financial situation based on the food they brought as an offering and just threw me off. On top of all of that he is a paedophile and after taking advantage of young girls he plays it out as if it were their fault, as if they were asking for it. He even drove one of his victims to suicide. I thoroughly enjoyed his demise and thought it was brought about by the right person. I wholeheartedly believe that he deserved what happened to him.
Would I watch it again?: I do not tend to like old American mysteries, they usually are not my type of film. But I did really like this film and may someday watch it again.
Overall: 7.5/10, I liked this film, it made me feel a lot things mainly fear and sadness. If you like dark mysteries with good actors, then watch The Devil All the Time.

War Machine (2026) a solid streaming sci-fi thriller , and one very silly ending
War Machine is the latest Netflix action sci-fi offering, and it lands exactly where you’d expect it to: somewhere in the middle. Not bad enough to turn off, not good enough to remember next week. The premise is familiar territory. Earth gets invaded, humanity’s finest figure out the enemy’s weakness, and they exploit it. We’ve seen this before in Battle Los Angeles, Predator, and plenty of…

Was erwartet euch in Staffel 1?
