Holy hell!!!! I’m completely and absolutely bowled over by ‘Cleverman.’ I just finished watching the series & WOW! This show is so amazing & apt, especially for the times we’re in. It’s a show that seamlessly weaves in aspects of mythology, spirituality, politics, racism, greed, hunger for power, segregation, persecution, volatile family dynamics, and a smidge of sci-fi into it’s proceedings. The quality both in terms of story & production values is very reminiscent of Neil Gaiman’s style as well as the style of the Wachowski siblings. The first season has 6 eps and the finale was poised at a very very interesting juncture of the plot. What I love most about the show is how the smallest action by one person sorta kinda triggers off a chain reaction of sorts and that we’re all connected directly or indirectly as a result of our actions. Also, I love the emphasis on how heroes aren’t chosen because they’re perfect. In fact, heroes are those who never see themselves as one, don’t even consider themselves to fall anywhere in the realm of being one & wear their faults and flaws for all to see. 

I highly highly recommend this show, and if u wanna talk about it, hit me up :)! So damn glad the show got renewed for a 2nd Season!
