So it's actually going to happen
scared shitless and overly excited
and so... NETHERLANDS WON OVER BRAZIL!!!
actually today's the last day of my duty for my first week of rotation. We had KFC lunch at the canteen and cakes from our beloved C.I. Mrs. Gale. The day was a good swell..
but what highlights my day extra-super special.. is that NETHERLANDS WON AND NOW CONTINUES TO RUN AGAINST THE WORLD CUP FOR 2010.
Seriously, last night while searching the time for the match, I was all over the net trying to figure out how to convert time, it was stated "16:00 GMT" so I ponder over it find ways to figure out what time is "16:00 GMT" in our time...after 2 hours of mind cracking on that time.. it figures that its gonna be 1am in our local time.. in which made me feel sad for I have a 7:30 duty the next day. So I forfeited the effort of watching the game till 3am. Yet the whole night, my mind is still stuck against the match and I can't sleep..
When I woke up at 5am, first thought "Who won? Netherlands or Brazil."
Luckily our local radio station announced it it this way...
"Brazil....was knocked-off from running against the World Cup Championship by Netherlands with the score of 2:1."
and that significant announcement made me jump, on my clinical uniform, white stockings and hair with hairnet on. I was kicking the wall, shouting, dancing, jumping again. I was a lunatic.. and really I don't care if I will come late at my duty.
..........those ORANJE DUDES made my day extra-super-duper PERFECT!!!! I LOVE YOU NETHERLANDS!!!!
p.s. now I know the reason why fans are going crazy over football it declared as the greatest sport in the world. World Cup made my heart beat extra faster.. one goal I'm dead. LOL.
