I parked my car at Thorpe Salvin and walked down Back Lane to Netherthorpe Airfield. The road seems so different when walking to driving and there are some quaint cottages. Time appears to go backwards. Netherthorpe cottage All the best Tim

These are a few more pictures of Netherthorpe Airfield. When I was a child, you could park the car close by, now there are double yellow lines everywhere. I suggest parking in Thorpe Salvin and walking down the hill to it. It looks a tidy and well maintained private airfield, there are planes everywhere.
