@netherworldpost I’ve got some stamps I’m saving for your relaunch
I got an @netherworldpost card in the mail today from one of my pen pals! I can't wait to be able to afford to buy some to send myself!
It's here!
Unholy screeching
Netherworld Post Office is NOW OPEN!
Launching took far longer than expected. The short answer: I studied what Evil Supply Co. did well, where it struggled, and where I want to focus.
I’m starting with greeting cards and some really interesting pay-if-you-want download concepts. In the next several weeks, I will slowly add more of both. In the next several months, I’ll begin adding zines and comics as well.
And of Course, a Classic $0.13 Sale!
To celebrate our launch, we are hosting our traditional “$0.13 Mystery Sale to Celebrate Friday 13th” (it’s not Friday 13th, we are simply too impatient to wait).
Available through Sunday, April 15, 2024!
Standard sales tax, shipping and handling, and/or international postage and/or customs fees apply. This is a normal, albeit heavily discounted, greeting card in our shop. No minimums nor maximums.

A giant THANK YOU for your attention and support!
Next steps are to gently panic as the inevitable quick-to-resolve, non-destructive, subtle but embarrassing, problems are inevitably found. This is part of launching any new project.
(Thank you in advance for any patience I may request while hammering out last-second post-launch weirdness.)
Okay, back to work.
Maybe a waffle first. Some coffee.
Thank you again. We’re going to have fun.

GYB: "So Netherworld Post Office... is this an art project or a business?"
a: "I prefer to think of it more as a problem."
Shop launches in the autumn.
Evil Supply Co. is becoming Netherworld Post Office and the brlog has launched and the shop launches as possible and things are moving and I'm excited.

I wanted to launch on May 13 because it was a Friday -- how marvelous! -- but as it is now June, that clearly hasn't happened yet.
We have the funding. This is not a request for support, just a request for understanding why the launch was delayed.
Vendor press checks took way longer than expected, web programming took way longer than expected. Legal and banking paperwork took (stares into space) way, way, way, way longer than expected.
If we were to squeeze a launch in June or even July, we're on Halloween's doorstep, so we would have to scramble to grab the last parts of summer
and/or rush through Halloween
and/or compromise how quickly your orders get out the door
and/or work an intense amount of hours.
You might have heard startups say "We move fast and break things!!!!!!"
This is an irresponsible business model and it is recited joyously by the people who do the breaking, not the fixing, not the subsequent cleanup crew. This mindset caused me significant damage in the mid-2010s and I've sworn to never go back.
Too many thoughts. I'm anxious to get started. End ramble, back to work.
Because I didn't get to do the 13-Cent Friday 13th Print Sale, in May, I'm going to do a 13-Cent Print Launch Sale.
The mailing list box remains open. Everyone who has signed up from April 2021 is on there, and the auto-magic-tech-thing auto-filters, you won't get duplicate emails if you sign up twice.
