i wanna personally thank you for being possibly the only reasonable person on that ‘bikes are just fast walking’ helmet discourse post. i actually learned something i never knew from your contribution!

Thanks! I'm glad to hear it! TBH I always forget that being I am far more entrenched in the biking world than the average person, as its always been a familial thing. I glad to share the news! A lot of folk go into the argument seeking one right answer, when really it's a pretty complex issue that has a lot to do with experience, location, and specific situation. As a whole, I advocate for helmet wearing a lot of the time, but acknowledge that it's not the end all be all of safety. I'm happy that I was able to teach you!

Who I am

Hey, this is just a quick overview of me. I am a trans (mtf), queer minor. I live in the U.S. Leftist. I use she/her pronouns and use (liable to change[it changed]) the name Olivine. I enjoy cottagecore and similar aesthetics, I am mostly on this cursed website named tumblr dot com for fandom and community reasons. I am sadly only fluent in English, though I am learning Spanish and have a rudimentary understanding of both Spanish and German, allowing me to get the general gist.
