Transmission Party Releases Addictive Debut Single

"Transmission Party is the brainchild of TJ Byrnes, an upstate New Yorker with a knack for writing killer indie-pop hooks. With a sound that blends the sounds of early Of Montreal twee, with the bright surf sound of The Beach Boys, Byrnes blends his influences to create a sound that is truly his own.

Just releasing the debut single, “New Drug,” your ears will be getting a sugary audible treat with luscious harmonies and catchy melodies. The infectious track is just the beginning of what Transmission Party has to offer in the coming months, with his first album release headed our way in early 2013. Coming from a musical background, TJ Byrnes not only writes all of his music and lyrics, but he also plays every instrument when it comes to creating his masterpieces. Byrnes also sits behind the scenes as producer and engineer, molding the perfect sound, which you can get a taste of with “New Drug.”
