MRI scan to 3D print - part 1

Turns out my university is more epic than I thought! At the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics (CINN) they conduct experiments involving an MRI scans. A friend of mine recently got her brain scanned and, with my newly assembled 3D printer, I jokingly offered to print it for her. Now she gave me her files and I am tinkering away to give it a go!

"Scientists have come up with a way to make whole brains transparent, so they can be labelled with molecular markers and imaged using a light microscope. The technique, called CLARITY, enabled its creators to produce the detailed 3D visualisations you see in this video.
