I just wanted you to know that when I saw Thor: Ragnorock and Asgard was destroyed some small part of me thought, “oh no, the merpeople!” Even though this Asgard was quite clearly not a planet and had no oceans.

I had an unusually awful day today and this is such a nice thing to find in my inbox. I hadn’t even made that connection before! (We’ll say they were all vacationing on a beach planet that week.)

You went to a woman's college? Which one (If you are comfortable), I am currently at a woman's college (MHC). What did you think of it? Are you glad you chose it over other schools?

I am a proud alumna of Bryn Mawr College, class of 1995. Bryn Mawr was an amazing, formative four years that changed me irrevocably, introduced me to amazing people, sowed the seeds of my political identity and opened my mind to so much new stuff I can’t even.

Plus it looks like Oxford and is full of awesome women so, win all around.
