i’m really doing it, i’m really FINALLY working a manuscript for my first poetry collection and a grant to boot! i wanted so much when i was younger, i thought i’d have a book or two out by now but ofc i wasn’t ready- so it goes. i know i’m ready now, and when i get this grant, i’m leaving Toronto. I loved this city but it never loved me but i am steadefast in the gratitude i feel for it despite that.
