You know what I miss? Never learning my beloved cotl college AU.. so here are more headcanons because these two are always on my brain:

on the subject of ✨aesthetics/outfits✨

Lambert:

yknow the 2020 “quirky” aesthetic? That’s like half of their wardrobe.

They switch between masculine and feminine clothing depending on the mood.

They do like pastels, and tend to avoid darker colors. White is like their go-to, closely followed by pale green or yellow.

Lots of necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Accessories are fun

They most commonly wear overalls and other loose fitting clothes. Baggy things help keep them cooler (their wool is very thick and lowkey tight fitting clothes over that is uncomfortable)

Default outfit: Loose fitted pale khaki green overalls on top of a white tshirt. Basic white tennis shoes, four leaf clover necklace, dangling bell earrings.

Narinder:

alright take lamberts style and completely flip it

Goes with a darker palette usually consisting of blacks, grays, and reds

Prefers tighter clothes, does enjoy a choker or turtle neck that covers his neck

Goes with accessories, but regular ones like a watch or stud earrings yknow

On the tired days will literally just go full hoodie mode, doesn’t often though

Default outfit: black turtle neck under gray cardigan (yes it looks like a catholic school girl one), black (jeans or slacks, slacks seem too fancy) with belt. Black shoes of some sort, he doesn’t really care.

Narilamb ;) :

When the two start dating they tend to share clothes, meaning that they both will randomly just switch styles.

Lambert will start to wear some darker clothes, and things that are WAY too big for them (obviously from Narinder)

Narinder will slowly adapt to having accessories gifted to him from lambert, little pops of color in his usually dark af outfits - ex: default outfit + random ass frog necklace

And I guess I throw in *sexy* headcanons now too because we sure do love the spice

Hickies!! Is a thing that definitely happens and has to get hidden most of the time

Lambert has their killer tattoo on their neck, so neck is more sensitive -> usually their hickies are below that and easy to hide with clothing

Narinder on the other hand is subjected to neck bites, which are covered by his turtle necks

In the hotter weather lambert has to be careful with wearing shorts because SOME CAT loves to bite at their thighs

Also when the two get up to activities✨ is most likely when their clothes will get switched. - Cause they stay up so late (nasty) -> wake up late for classes -> have to scramble

Lamberts wool gets really messed up when they do the jingle dingle, so hopefully they get a chance to fix it up before going out

(Narinder’s fur is so short he doesn’t really have to worry about it, although the parts that get tugged will stick up)

Anyways I’m kinda reworking parts of the never learning AU bc I can’t consistently work on something to save my life

But they’re still in love

More Never learning headcanons bc I'm insane

uhm... no one asked for these but I'm throwing more of my headcanons for this au in here so they don't just sit in the doc collecting dust

--- Characters (besides the narilamb) Baxter/The Goat (he/they)

Lamb's roommate, tennis player so he got into this school with a solid 2.7 GPA but also a full ride

"Skater boi™/sufer man aesthetic… also kinda greasy" copied straight from my doc...

has a good few friends, but he's no social butterfly he just vibes with who he vibes with

Does consider Lambert his closest friend, I love it when roommate pairs actually work <3

The Bishops (but they're not bishops here duh) Leshy: same age as Lambert + Baxter, roommates with Iris (aka yellow cat) basically is just forced to live in the dorms until he can join his family in their joint apartment Heket: same age as Narinder, gender studies + art double major bc she's cool, craftsy and lowkey second in command in the apartment Kallamar: juniorish age, pre-med, volunteers at a local animal shelter on top of work, a pathetic wet man Shamura: seniorish age (or graduated, haven't decided yet), caretaker of the bishops (they pay most of the rent), doesn't have favorites (but totally does)

All of the bishops are related, but it is a complicated connection (so like... different dads maybe same mom situation??), but they all are related and have since moved away from whatever parental situation there was

Leshy is the least connected to the rest of them, as he still lives on campus (has to as a freshie)

If Shamura is still in school, it's part time so they can work, if they're graduated, they only work so they're not around much

once Narinder starts dating Lambert he kinda jumps between staying in Lambert's room and his own room

It's basically a system so they can stay together if they want to, or they can have their own space (sometimes Lambert stays with Narinder also, if they want to give Baxter space

I imagine Lambert's love language being physical touch and quality time + Narinder's is quality time :3 - So they both spend a lot of time together once they start dating <3

One of the chapters I'm planning is where Lambert tells their friend about their (potential crush) feelings for Nari

...Lambert tells this to LESHY

...chaos ensues

Now do these two start banging it out the minute they get together? Probably not

Lamb is a freshie who just got here and lives out of state, they don't want to move super quickly

Narinder is fairly unexperienced in this realm, only having dated a small handful of people (and none super seriously)

Also, there aren't alot of opportunities for these two to be alone. Lambert lives in a shared room with Baxter and Narinder lives in an apartment with three other siblings

So you better KNOW these two learn to sneak around a little (ohoho)

I mean the first spicy oneshot I wrote has the premise that Baxter is out of town lol (will I ever publish that to the public? who knows)

As a college student I always have ideas for my silly little college AU but never the time to write or draw

Here’s a new one I just thought of:

I picture these two taking like a year or so to get together but they’re in a little talking phase for like… a good bit

The talking bit lasts a LONG while to the point where the two will “platonically” cuddle in lamb and goat’s SHARED DORM

Goat is like 😒 these gay bitches

I can picture lamb studying for math while narinder has his head in their lap playing on his phone or smth

And the goat is sitting at his desk with his back turned and noise canceling headphones turned ALL THE WAY UP
