@d-eadeye ... the writing is totally immersive. there isn't a piece of dialogue or single line that it's absolutely dripping in ˗ˋˏcowboy ˎˊ˗ ... it's truly something else. the way the narration in my head utterly changes in tone, accent and all, reading ... and dare i say even replying back. — Dirty cowpokes belonged far from the perfumed purlieus of sovereignty ... banger of a line.

📚 ― 𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑

@vitalphenomena ... likely takes the cake for most threads i've read by someone else and i'm ( mostly ) not involved. i mean just the other day i read their entire storyline start to finish with a pairing of theirs. idk, i'm always nosy on what's going on over there.. because there is always something going on. this is my soaps.

🥇 ― 𝑤𝑒𝑙𝑙-𝑑𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑑 𝑜𝑐

@defideis ... selah, selah, love her as if she were mine. i mean, i was here at your birth, so... godparent? listen, there's everything here ... sci-fi, fantasy, horror, religious themes ... these are amongst my favorite things. she isn't just a character, she's got extensive lore ... there's world building, religion building, planet building. you can see why i feel a sense of kinship here. selah and the sisters of lumen of real to me ... and they'll be real to you, too.

😍 ― 𝑎𝑑𝑚𝑖𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑎𝑓𝑎𝑟

@neverburied ... firstmost, they have an eye for some serious breathtaking graphics ... taylor and their love for romantic writing is what initially grabbed my attention ... and i mean, that's a good enough reason for me to be an admirer. there should be more romance writers. and they seem to get the difference between a a) romantic pairing/elements in plot and b) romance and how they aren't always the same thing. oh, and the writing here is an absolute stunner.

 ⸙ ❝  let’s not start with anything too difficult. ❞      his hands were above yellowish paper similar to papyrus.      beautiful in tone and to touch.      the lake before them shone with the sunrays like their own personal museum, as if nature had given then all the approval required to make its beauty eternal.      speaking of striking and numbing sights, he tried his best not to look at allie too often to avoid making her uncomfortable, but it was a difficult ordeal.      her redhair looked smooth and he swore a good aquarella back in his hotel room was waiting for him to sketch then color it — but it was best to focus on the now, on being a reasonable mentor.      he pointed to a rock far away.

( why did lestat hate her ? a question asked many times even in her anger toward him. did he want her to be happy, to have someone of her own as he did more than once ? you'd think he would as her prior father figure. her maker. )

silently, hand reaches over to take her hand in claudia's. the night is quiet on the bench they sit, in a part with low lights & scattered pairs of people walking about the city. thumb rubs over the top of madeleine's hand, a breath drawn into her chest before hand turns with a softened gaze. ❛ ya know, once i thought i would never have someone t'call my own. ❜ speaks the woman with a growing smile, ❛ thought no one could love me the way i wanted 'em too. but, turns out i jus' had t'wait a little while. ❜ squeeze on her hand tightens. ❛ forever is-a long time, maddie. do ya think you can love me that long ? ❜

𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐈𝐏𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐒, 𝐀 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐓 setting into her chest at the gravity of whats being said. bella could never imagine being faced with a dilemma like that one ... nor would she want to be. it felt hard enough imagining it let alone living it. the tip of her converse digs into the ground long enough to kick a rock a mere few inches forward. it takes her a moment to gather herself, to lift her head & turned toward him, brown eyes, lighter under the overcast sun peaking through clouds, settle so easily onto jasper's features. she gazes at him with some sense of wanting to understand, with empathy. before she can speak, shoulders raise in a small shrug as if communicating 'whatever i say may not be enough, but i can try.'

" i'm so sorry, i should've been nowhere near your personal bubble just then – " that's when his words make her do a double take, frown slowly dissipating. what were the chances ?? " oh my god, we did ! i mean, how could i forget, i hadn't seen that many girls collectively swoon in my life. " she smiles now, a bit more relieved that what she did just became five percent less dreadful. " hayes, right ? " & she tries her best to keep her voice lowered, preserving his privacy & her own, for that matter – this is the only situation she'll ever allow her hair to be squished by a baseball cap.
