he tells her this nearly every day, but this time he means it. mostly. his self-control goes out the window whenever he sees her and her stupid smirk and her stupid jokes; something primal within him activates and he just has to dick her down to show her who's boss. it was as toxic as it sounded, which was a realization he had as a newly self-aware man; whether he cared was the next step to betterment. 

he keeps kissing her until her lips are swollen and they were both breathing each other in – a drug fueled battle for dominance.

And there goes her peace and quiet. Dolores curses under her breath, soft enough to not be distinct, but loud enough in this echo chamber of a room to be heard even above the music drifting in from the main room. She turns to face the man intruding on her moment of solitude and comes face to face with... Some British guy. "I didn't think they'd mind." She gestures to the cluster of crustaceans in the tank with the smouldering thing between her fingers. Everyone else seems to be more occupied with the sharks and rays in the other room, she didn't think anyone would bother following her. A deep inhale of her luck, a long exhale of smoke. "... You know when someone walks away from a party alone, they aren't usually looking for company."
