I’m fairly certain those were just a combination of watercolour textures from here (desaturated, inverted, etc) set to screen and soft light.
The lines were just me using the pen tool and drawing paths across the background, then stroking the path with a small brush. :)

yeah, i used one of my own psds which you'll find here (you're welcome), and then the only textures i used were the root/tree, which i got from this gorgeous pack, and the base gradient thing, from northerndawn's 10th pack (link)
