Two large blasts of pure energy collided against each other with a thunderous crash. They were probably putting too much power into this than they should, but they were far too into their fighting game to turn back now. In a split secon decision, and a refusal to lose, they both burst into Super Saiyan and threw as much Ki into their respective blasts as possible.
The waves suddenly exploded, throwing their Ki across the sky and sending both boys flying in the respective directions.
He must’ve flown for at least ten seconds before his body slammed into the ground, bouncing harshly once and straight into a rock, breaking it nearly in two. The boulder crumbled onto him, burying him in at least five pounds of solid sedimentary.
Enough time passed for the dust to settle.
A pebble fell from the top, down to the ground. Then, in a burst of energy, the top rocks blew away and emerged from the wreckage was a boy; Goten, to be exact.

When he returned with silence, his excitement melted to concern as he glanced around the empty area for his sparring partner.
