Notes:
“Neutralize poison with poison”(毒を以て毒を制す) is a proverb used in Japanese which corresponds to the English proverbs: fight fire with fire, fight one evil with another, set a thief to catch a thief.
In the lyrics Ryota writes “last life” but when he sings it, he uses the words “last game”.
He does it again when he writes “thrust the answer/solution” but instead sings “thrust the knife”.
To me, these changes represent the heart that can’t make up it’s mind to live or to die. It’s life/solution vs a game/knife.
