Too little too late

I shot the messenger in the head. Five times with an assault rifle It was at that party because you said I would have to get you really drunk if I wanted to sleep with you and I was mad that you said that because I would never do that because it's rape and rape is not love. And then I got a horrible feeling and realized... If it would be rape if I did it to you, isn't it definitely rape if someone stone cold sober did it to me? I had tried not to realize it but now I couldn't avoid it and I was angry that I hadn't been able to stop it so I took it out on you because you're the one that made me realize the truth even though it was an offhand comment (if a rude one) on your part. I felt stupid. I didn't want to be angry at myself for being stupid so I was angry at you. And at The Bitch of course for thinking that because he was interested in trying to get to know me afterwards that made it ok. Too little too late. Like this apology. Too little too late. I won't bother you again.
