i was fortunate to see Nirvana live one time - at the legendary show for MTV in 1993 (http://www.mtv.com/news/1714364/nirvana-live-and-loud-history-behind-the-scenes/) in a small place at the height of their run...from the front row and crowd surfing in front of the stage...I was huge into the band and was put on the guest list the day of the show by a Soundgarden roadie I'd befriended as his waiter one night months before. He had a Soundgarden jacket on and Im still a huge @soundgarden fan. I got the call mid-shift at REI (original store) and had to sweet talk my boss into letting me go early right then and there. I ran down the hill to the waterfront to the piers. I'll never ever forget Kurt and well I have no other word for it, his aura. He was different.
