“It matters right now, mate,” Hawthorne said, with a grin that was somehow simultaneously very sympathetic and also not at all. “Sorry to break it to you.”

My Nevermoor multi-chapter fic just reached 100 kudos, I am a Proud Parent! I just wrote another wunshot instead of the next chapter because I am Horrible and cannot be trusted. I’ll probably publish it in the morning, when I have a coherent brain to edit with, but at least I wrote the summary ahead of time!
