How we grow

I don’t post originals often but

I’d like to write this one out, for history sake. For myself.

We will be tested: our will and integrity are the be-all-end-all that we have to rely on. We’ve prepared for this moment, so when this time rolls around, we are ready to endure, we are ready to grow.

I often confess that I am sick and tired of pouring my heart out to the wrong person.

it’s like a blood transfusion with a person whose veins and arteries are pulsing with poison.

If I were confessing this to you, if I bring this to your attention, it is definitive that you are among the ‘wrong’.

this is not to offend, not to harm, not to scar. You are the puzzle piece to someone else’s picture.

if you were the right, I wouldn’t be struggling with the same conundrum. I would be too focused on how lucky I am and will be until the end comes to reap.
