"Last year, #AI #datacenters burned more #energy to cool their chips than Sweden uses in a year. Now a #newcoolingmethod could cut that figure by as much as 95 percent...Based on test results, the new structure would improve cooling by 32 percent while cutting the energy needed to pump the coolant by as much as 68 percent. Together, that would mean that the new plate design could reduce the energy wasted as #heat from 30 percent to 1.1 percent, a 95-percent reduction, the developers claim."
