I was Numb until 7pm

I got a crown on a back molar today...I grind and clench my teeth. Even with the night guard I have managed to wear away the enamel and Crack the tooth. I was crazy nervous (not the norm for me) but I am with a new dentist (who I absolutely love). Novicane takes a long time to kick in with my body for some reason so when he started and I could still feel it I got a second larger dose(and possibly 3rd my eyes were closed and I was partially numb)....this was at 3 pm...it lasted till 7 Had Luke warm Mac and cheese for dinner cause no hot or cold foods for 2 days...with the temp crown nothing sticky cause it can pop off or hard food cause I can crush it ...yay me! I have it on until Jan 8th. I might still crush it anyway...the teeth clenching is a problem and I have one other crown that I crushed the temp. Tomorrow is my last day of work for a month. I NEED the break. I need a reset. Some me time and just getting stuff done time. We leave for Tennessee on Friday morning...staying in the smokey mountains. I'm worried about how sad it may look...it is such a beautiful place. We might see if we can help out while we are there...
