ANNOUNCING NEW DRIVEN IMPACT – OUR NEW DAILY RADIO SHOW ON WROM RADIO
Last week we announced that we are offering two new weekly syndicated shows in place of the TORQUED and CRUISIN shows.
This week, we’ve got more great news for independent rock musicians and bands.
WROM Radio, out of Detroit, Michigan, have asked us to produce a daily show specifically for their radio station. It’s daunting to add this to the two syndicated shows we’re currently producing but it’s an opportunity to take the music farther than ever before so, after long consideration and working out a time management system that would rival any world leader, we’re taking the plunge.
WROM Radio enjoys a huge listening audience of over 500,000 daily listeners. NEW DRIVEN IMPACT will air 10 pm Eastern time Monday – Friday. We’re so excited about this opportunity and what it means to all New Driven bands.
Stadium rockers, YUCA are enjoying a phenomenal year!
On October 11th they begin their second tour of Japan this year! On the same day, their long-anticipated new album, REBUILDING THE FALLEN EMPIRE, drops.

NEW DRIVEN IS AN INDEPENDENT ROCK REVOLUTION! Take The Ride.
Primitive camping, a weekend of great independent rock and a bunch of cool people....sound like fun?
LEFTFEST is a fundraiser organized by fans of independent musician, Neil Cribbs so that he can complete his new album: To The Left. Not a reference to political thinking, To The Left refers to the idea that there are other creative ways to look at life - not always as 'right' or 'wrong' but maybe, sometimes out of the box or TO THE LEFT!
LeftFest will be held April 14th & 15th in Newnan, Georgia. Primitive camping will be available to those who wish to stay over. At least 10 bands are on board for the event so far but the list is far from complete at this point. Expect quality bands and great music.
What a wonderful statement about an artists work that his fans stepped in to help raise the needed funds to complete his new album. A big shout out to Neil's fans who are helping get his music out there for the rest of us to enjoy!
Xander Demos
Xander Demos, the shred-tastic metal guitarist from Pittsburgh, PA is asking fans on his Facebook "like" page to select his upcoming single release. Starting today, and continuing for the next several days, fans of the melodic metal instrumentalist will be able to choose between two posted songs from Xander's soon-to-be-released CD, "Guitarcadia." Known for being extremely fan-friendly and interactive, Xander has chosen this method as a way of making sure that his fans get exactly what they want: "I'll be doing two a day until a winner is selected. The winner is going to be selected by YOU ALL - not me this time around," Xander posted on his Facebook wall. His Facebook page currently boasts more than 5400 fans. Once the new single is chosen, it will be promoted worldwide by Cameron Tilbury Publicity, who are among the leading international radio promoters. The Facebook contest coincides with the start of pre-orders for Xander's debut CD. The aforementioned "Guitarcadia" is being mixed and mastered by CJ Snare from the band Firehouse, and it is scheduled for a February 29th release. Fans who take advantage of the pre-order at http://www.steelcityguitar.com will receive a signed and numbered copy of the CD once it is released. Xander Demos has appeared on Steve Vai's GuitarTv.com, GuitarWorld.com, Screamer Magazine, MetalXezine, The Real Radio Show and others. He has opened shows for Dio Disciples, UFO, Kip Winger, Lizzy Borden and has an upcoming opener with Buckethead. For more information, please visit www.xanderdemos.com.
News From Asher Armstrong
Big news from Asher Armstrong! Their current bass guitar player, Kent Cook, is going to be stepping out of the band. "It is a loss for us" states front man, Jordan Armstrong. Armstrong went on to say, "Kent is an incredible musician on many different levels and we have truly benefited from having him ride this long with us. Kent has made a move to Atlanta and we are sure to see him soon playing with another group." Cook's last scheduled show with the band is February 24th at the Monkey Barrel in Gainesville, GA when they will back up Michael C Smith. This loss has been expected for some time and Kent graciously gave the band plenty of heads up to try and find another full time player. The guys in Asher Armstrong are VERY excited to welcome back their FIRST pick into the band - Rob Beardsworth! Beardsworth is a long time friend of Armstrongs AND the bass player for 3 of the tracks on their EP! Although never officially with Asher Armstrong, Rob has been a musical friend from "back in the day". He and Armstrong played together in the group which was a precursor to Asher Armstrong, Haksers Kash! Things certainly have a way of working themselves out! Asher Armstrong has a lot of shows coming up. Armstrong himself is doing some open Mics to try and get the music out there. He is also working to put together some shows in the near future with some other New Driven Radio BANDS! But more on that when confirmed.
