Time is a social construct etc., but we've somehow reached the one year anniversary of me taking over mod roles for this blog.

I started reading Down to Agincourt more than a decade ago, and while I'm not very active online normally, I'm a strong believer that if you want a fandom to survive (whether it's to reach newbies or to still be there for older fans), someone needs to keep the lights on. So thank you all for letting me incessantly flood your feed with reposted dta content this past year -- I look forward to more!

Hey everyone! We're super excited to announce that we have a new mod joining the team! Please welcome @Men-in-the- Moon (aka Moon Men, he/they).

Moon Men will be lending a hand with content moderation (assuring post quality, proofreading comic posts, and eliminating any chance of AI appearances), content curration (reblogging & post interactions- he knows the vibe we're striving for here), and just making sure this space is a full, fun, and engaging spot for everyone. We're thrilled to have them here to assist our Stranger Better Things safe haven!

A few words from Moon Men:

Hi everyone this is Moon Men speaking! I am a working artist and am currently neck deep in the Stranger Things fandom. Over on @Men-in-the-Moon you will find my personal posts, my art, and a ton of shit posting. Hey, I'm not saying you have to, but give me a follow if you want some god tier content 🫡

I have worked closely with the Better Things artist, L, for a long time and I can confidently say you guys are in for a great story and some AMAZING art. L is such a talented artist and story writer, and I'm so excited to watch them share this AU with all of you. Without spoiling anything, I assure you this is a very special passion project that won't disappoint.

I'm excited to be an active member of this blog and share some ST content you guys will love (Hellcheer lovers, Billy adorers, Byler stans, and general ST fans are all welcome here- I'll even throw in some Steve content for all you Joe fans out there). I'll be active on this blog most days of the week, and I'll be transparent about my contributions by adding the #mod tag to anything I share. I'll also be diligent of tagging characters and ships appropriately if you need things filtered. Be sure to look out for L's official comic updates that are tagged #better things comic to stay up to date on the story! 🎨📒 If you guys have any questions feel free to send me a message (just direct your message to Moon Men and I'll be sure to respond).

The ST show and fandom have really kept us going and we're both super excited to commit to this and share our inner worlds with all of you. We're not running away this time, we're going all-in. You'll be seeing me around, just check the tags 😎

So as New Mod, I'm still working to figure out exactly what I want to be posting here, and I'd initially told myself I wasn't going to blog anything that was created solely for purchase. No profiting from fandom and all that, right?

Our new mod, Mod 🪭 (xe/shx).

Xe have decided to help The Lady with the packs, so more can be going out at the same time. Shx are a pf-DID system who knows a LOT about object shows and other sources.

Hey faithful patrol members! New Mod here. In a thematically-appropriate way, I've been unexpectedly dropped into A Situation; thank you for your patience while I hid in a metaphorical cabin for a few days to wrap my head around this page.

Do I know any of the previous mods on this blog? No. Can I get you, dear members, into the discord or access the Twitter account? Also no. Am I confident that I won't be accidentally reposting hippo art memes from 2017? No to that as well.

But! What I do have is a recipe for Eldritch Horror and a give 'em hell attitude, and I'll figure it out.

Hey, we got brought on as another mod, so we figured we'd just make a little introduction post!

We're the Werewolf Pack! While we technically have a medium-sized system, only a few of us (usually no more than 5) are ever active at a time, so Deer allowed us anyway :)

We can be collectively referred to as Wolf, and we use collective they/them pronouns.

All individual signoffs we use will use the 🐺 (wolf) emoji, for example "mod skye 🐺" Just to help clearly identify us from the other mod :)
