decided to watch that spongebob time travel special and WAS THAT A MUSICAL REFERENCE??????
#im talking about the scene where spongebob says 'im just a simple sponge thats all' to help wanted!spongebob#also on another note maybe its just because i dont like modern spongebob but it was so mid other than the musical references#like spoiler alert but they did NOT need to crossover with the patrick star show#it also had really wierd episode choices#like yeah help wanted is iconic and i guess rock bottom too but neptunes spatula? i love the episode but its not exactly the best choice#like cmon pizza delivery and SB129 are right there#or if you wanna delve into season 2 band geeks and frankendoodle#sorry for the long rant i dont hate spongebob i swear#but the special was kind of a letdown and didnt deserve the hype#and also the patrick star show is the worst#and honestly if they used iconic characters like krabs or squidward in place of the stars it would be alot better#oh this rant is way too long ill end it here#spongebob#spongebob squarepants#new spongebob#time travel spongebob special
