Surgery #1

My first surgery was on a young boy who had just turned 18, I had to remove the shounen lobe of his brain and then fill up the lost space. Four years later he is alive and well with a fully functional beyblade in place of his missing lobe.

Surgery #3

A young woman came in with a snapped Achilles, we jumped into surgery and I helped repair the broken tendon with a ziptie. Her gait is slightly crooked but it’s unknown if it’s due to the surgery, the initial injury, of complications in the afterwards physical therapy.

Looking at the article, it seems like it could be a huge step! I think the biggest thing would be trying to stop the body from rejecting it c:

Yeah! It’s actually really exciting for me because bottom surgery has been something I’ve been really afraid of due to the mixed and kind of terrifying results I’ve seen. The fact that they have successfully done a transplant like this tells me that within the next 10 years or so, we should have an approximate 80% success rate as far as functionality and aesthetic goes which would be absolutely amazing and life changing for many people.
