Peter’s Dream

The disciple of Peter had a strange dream and in it he saw carpet descending upon from Heaven and in it there were all manner of birds and reptiles and a voice from Heaven bellowed: rise Peter, take and eat.

For Peter the dream was a message to spread the gospel and mingle with the pagans. What could the dream mean to us. It literally means God is standing with you and will help you to nurture your earthly needs and desire.

Parable of Jesus

Jesus told this parable.

In it a farmer planted wheat and let it to grow.

In the night, the enemy came and planted darnel.

When the workers found out that the field was polluted with Darnel, they asked the master whether they should cut it off.

The Master replied: no let it grow together. When the time comes for harvest, the Darnel will be cut and burnt. The good wheat will go for threshing.

What Jesus meant was when the time of Judgement comes, all those who are wicked and stand in judgement will not be accepted in Heaven.

Parable of the Sower

This is taken from the Bible and is said by Jesus Christ.

A man planted seeds on the road. Soon the birds came and ate it up. A seed planted on road refers to an individual who hears the word but does not understand it. The enemy comes and snatches it away.

Next, the man planted some seeds and it fell on rocky ground. Since there was no soil it did not yield any fruit. The meaning of this is: when trouble and afflictions come and plague the man, he loses faith in the word of God.

Next the planter planted some seeds and it fell on thorns. The seed could not grow amongst the thorns. Such a type of person is: a person hears the word but is caught up with the glamour and deceits of the world and so the word has no foundation on him.

Lastly some seeds were sown on good soil and they yielded much fruit. Such person is a one who hears the word and puts it to life.

Sayings of Love by ST Paul an Exegesis

The sayings of ST. Paul on love are a remarkable theology and take philosophy to an epitome of heights.

Love is Patient

Being Patient means the capacity to endure. There is a perfect God Jehovah Jesus ordained time in our lives. To have patience we must have a child-like faith in God.

Love is Kind

Kindness is a great capacity to being humane with our fellow beings. We have to be helpful to other people in need. Kindness means not hurting or breaking the trust of loved ones.

Love is not Jealous

Yes, Paul reminds us that envy and covetousness should have no place in your hearts. Christ also says we should love our enemies.

Love is not pompous

Being pompous means not to be arrogant, haughty and self-gratifying. We should be able to discipline our mind and our senses.

Love is not Rude

Jesus has clearly said: if a person hits you on your right cheek, be ready to offer your left cheek. We should be gentle and meek in our speech and action. We should not hurt people.

Love does not seek its own interests

We should be able to sacrifice our ego fulfilment to the interests of others, especially with our loved ones.

Love is not quick Tempered

Anger and Wrath belong to the Devil. We must be able to control our emotions. We must able to develop the spirit of love towards all.

Love does not rejoice with Wrong Doing But Rejoices in Truth

All forms of wrong doing, anger, hatred, covetousness, lechery, murder, adultery have no place in God’s kingdom. We should not cultivate what is detestable for God Jehovah Jesus.
