With Twitter well and truly in the dump (after the stupid Doge announcement post-election I found myself not wanting to go on there at all anymore), I'm trying to figure out how I want to use my social medias now. For a while I just came on Tumblr to lurk and occasionally rb or drop fanart/fic posts, but maybe I'll start talking about personal and professional things on here more again too.
It definitely feels like starting over in a sense, considering I can't expect to keep all my followers/engagement from any one platform to another, but I guess that's just where we're at. I was never good at chasing ~the algorithm~ anyway.
I'm also trying to become more active on Bluesky! Though because I have more professional connections there, my posts'll be a bit more focused on daily life/gamedev and a bit less about fandom or anything potentially nsfw.
