2013 so far has been working out. I've finally come to realise that I can't expect certain people to care and respect me, in the way that I would to them, which is completely fine. The friends I have, though few, are the ones I trust wholeheartedly, and due to recent events they have become family. It's kinda awkward that I would count on my girls now more than my extended family, but if I've learnt anything from last year is that blood no binds people together. All members of a family should be seen equally, and not be judged on what they have or what they have to offer, and I just don't believe mine stands for that. In this new year not only am I eliminating the irrelevant aspects of my life but also trying to better myself. Although difficult I'm trying to be more understanding and less judgmental of those around me, as their differences however crazy or outrageous compared to mine, makes them, them. Lol the only downside to the start of this year is the fact I have no idea if I've gotten into my university course, and that ima broke ass bitch. Besides the point this is the first time I've actually been content and happy with life, excluding the money issue, I feel as though I am finally surrounded by real people who don't have such a confined view in life! Expecting big things from this year ✌
