i love my 22yo coworker because he's so precious. he tells me about the tiktok shop and i tell him i don't use tiktok he goes "reallyyyy?" and i have to explain to him that i'm over the age of 30. he tells me his dad is addicted to tiktok. he asks me where could i have possibly watched heated rivalry when it's not available in the uk. i explain to him the ways of piracy. he tells me about his fashion ethic classes and his favourite teachers, he tells me how zara is actually just as bad as shein. he tells me about being contractually obligated to get a spary tan before every cheerleading competition and how even though he's practically orange and has so much makeup on a drag queen would be jealous he looks pale compared to everyone else on video. and then we finish 40 minutes early because neither of us stopped working for a second.

Do other Littles have this thing where their age fluctuates through the day? I woke up tiny, but I got bigger after a while, and then I was super tiny again and now I'm about in the middle.

Is that normal? I know people can slip even younger but can they get bigger with time or is that weird?

I want to think it's normal but I don't really know.

The Pitt (i don't really watch movies and unfortunately i haven't been able to read much lately, but i did listen to Educated on audio and it's probably one of my faves)

i love the feeling of being up early in the morning, but i love sleep even more and the peace that comes after the sun goes down, so night!

11) what’s your work/profession?

so, i studied to be an animator and then i spent years training as an actor and i've worked with surgical implants and then i worked as a dog groomer for a bit and right now i'm working in a coffee shop... so let's say retail on and off between random hyperfixations lmao

what's the appropriate reaction to your ex getting married cuz i couldn't stop laughing since my friend texted me about it lmao

If you feel comfortable sharing, I would love to know about the living in an ex nunnery?! That sounds wild lol

ahah tbh i don't know if it's as wild as it seems lmao

it was basically an independent dorm for high school and college girls, also an airbnb during weekends (which is a pretty common thing for dorms in that city, like i'm pretty sure most of them were like that) and as i said it used to be a nunnery, which meant that it shared a wall with the church in the middle of the biggest square in the city (it's still a relatively small square though, definitely smaller than trafalgar)

anyway, part of the living arrangements were to attend mass every month unless you had other engagements with your school, so we would usually just step out an hour or so before and only come back after, but we couldn't always escape it lmao

so we would be there from sunday night till friday morning and we had a curfew until like 9pm iirc, but that was only 2 days a week officially... we always managed to whine our way into at least 3, sometimes even 4 night though afsgsg

oh and one time me and my high school bestie were called into the office of the principal because we "seemed too close" and they didn't want us to "confuse" the other girls...... nevermind that she had a girlfriend and i had a boyfriend at the time and all the straight girls in the dorm walked around holding hands and giving lip-pecks to each other lmao the early 10s were interesting times...

oh and it was just around the time laws were changing around smoking, so in our first year there we were still allowed to smoke in the yard and when that changed, we either smoked out front or during the week we got off to study for our exams, we went to the tax offices behind the dorm and even though we were standing there holding our coffee cups, in our robes and fluffy slippers, all the workers said good morning in such serious tones, it was very fun lmao

so yeah, not that wild, but at the very least, it was an interesting 2 years i guess

sometimes i lull myself into comfort and then get violently reminded that my brain is not healthy and wishing for the sweet relief of death is in fact not a normal thing to spend your mornings with... welp

booked my flight tickets for june and i cannot waiiiit to 1) be away from work and 2) spend days in the pool and 3) get all the serotonin my mum's cats can provide
