WORLD`S BEST NEW ATTRACTION - Dubai Frame
Grand Opening in November 2017. Come and visit.
The project aims to implement a frame, which uniquely highlights the Dubai landmarks. It forms an aesthetic and architectural landmark that creates a bridge between the past and the present, to be an important attraction point for tourist visitors and residents alike, and is expected to attract nearly 2 million tourists a year. It is in the form of a frame, with two towers of height 150m, that are connected by a 93m bridge at the top of the towers. The space between the towers forms a pretty clear view for the city from a high altitude. The bridge serves as an observatory providing uninterrupted views of “Old Dubai” to the north, and “New Dubai” to the south.
◆ The frame measures 150 metres high and 93 metres wide.
◆ The two towers are connected by a 100-square-metre bridge, which has a 25-square-metre glass panel in the middle.
◆ It was designed by award-winning architect Fernando Donis, who also designed Dubai’s Porsche Design Towers, and the Dubai Renaissance Tower.
◆ There will be a museum on the ground floor that will showcase Dubai’s transformation from fishing village to metropolis.
◆ It is predicted the frame will become a major tourist destination in the city, like the Burj Khalifa and the Burj Al Arab.
◆ The project is worth Dhs160 million.
