Here are two books I finished reading late spring/early summer. I discovered the author through Tyndall Publishers. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed both books and are looking forward to reading more of Mackall’s work (she has about 450 titles to her credit!). . Larger-than-Life Lara tackles the subject of bullying, and teaches some great lessons about how to respond with grace when others hurl insults at you and about all the essential elements needed to craft a good story. This one would make a great back back-to-school read. . Just Sayin’ is told completely through written correspondence between the book’s characters — letters, texts, email messages, and even a couple of notes scrawled by hand and taped to the refrigerator.
