Poor NewGal had a bad headache day yesterday. I had mentioned that if she wanted to set up a working session for one of things we're implementing to just send me an invite for today or tomorrow. But if she was just feeling bad to use her sick time.

I hadn't seen an invite come through so I sent her a Teams message letting her know where I was on things. She asked if I wanted to reschedule the working session that was to start in 15 minutes.

We use Outlook and when you get invited to a meeting, it still shows up on your calendar but the meeting will show up with a dashed border and lighter highlight to indicate you haven't accepted the meeting invite.

Nothing was on my calendar. She checked and said, "I think my headache wasn't letting me think straight. I just invited myself"

I'm just laughing about it.

Flipping the Page

Hello social-butterflies,

I didn’t post yesterday because my husband finally got home from his week away at work. Pretty exciting feeling but as i knew it would happen he would fall asleep and catch up on rest.

I did have some thoughts yesterday though while I was reading a book, (the book being Everything, Everything By Nicola Yoon)... which might I say, I hope the movie is just as good! The ending though.... SUCH a cliffhanger.

BUT my thought... When did the world of books become to obsolete. I get it technology advances and everything you want you can get instantly. A world of instant gratification. You can literally have a whole library at the palm of your hand.

I remember when I was in school and we had book fairs (THROWBACK) and i would get so absolutely excited to go home and start flipping away at the pages in front of me. I mean I’m one of those people who still goes to book stores and get excited to pick something up.

So tell me little social-butterflies.. What in today’s world do you miss from when you where younger that technology has completely changed?

Pick up a book. Its worth the excitement. _PB27

Hey Social Webber's,

Ill start with a cheesy greeting and welcome you to my page. For my FIRST try on this blogging experience I think I’m jut going to start it off with something personal.. GAG I know.. but where else could I possibly start? 

..Not like there isnt kids and adults going hungr or anything... 

..umm. right. anyways!

Little Back Story- I just recently became unemployed (yes this is kinda a HUGE deal in my life). But im handling it pretty well. I stay at home with my two pups and i relax, take time or myself and well...... yeah thats about it...

...I’m soooo totally whats happening in the world am i right?

Gee i bore myself... Yawn

Back to present thoughts: 

I am SICK of the not being able to talk to anyone. This whole unemployed sitting at home not being able to socialize even for a bit... (side note: even thought I say I cant stand people on a daily basis..)

A little bit of human interaction is needed by everyone no matter what state of mind your in!

I mean I wake up every morning, do routine with the pups and you know have my time....and yes have my daily go to gal I talk to every day (she’s the best thing since slice bread might I add lol)... but she lives damn near across the country from me.. and not to mention that my husband is away because of work...

I can only talk to my pups enough in one day before I start to believe i look like a mad women....(maybe not they are just TOO good of listeners)

I know theres IS worse things in the world then complaining about not having anyone to talk to.... but lets be real with each other for once.. tell me world.. whats been bothering you and on your mind at these wee hours of the night....

In my relationship, I felt held back and it wasn't an equal partnership. I was taken for granted. But now!!! I'm so so happy to be newly single. It's time for self development, fun in the sun, & lots of hard work. I feel as strong as I have ever felt as a person. Doing something for me to better myself. Learning to love myself. Develop myself into a strong independent woman in society. Fight for the things I want with nobody holding me down. Do the things I want without having to consider a second opinion. I am excited.
