The ashes were like snowflakes that were born from the flames, made of the flesh of the fallen.

This happened again. And again. After every battle, a funeral of fire was hosted for all soldiers who’s bodies could be recovered from the rubble.

Tonight was no different, except one of the soldiers was not killed by a monster. 

“Our brave brother, the Star Warrior Jecra, Father of one, was the strongest among us. The enemy captured him, nearly killing him until he had no choice but to join their forces for the sake of surviving to see his son once more…”

Jecra’s ashes were like snowflakes, just like everyone else’s. No matter how strong, wise, good or evil, everyone is equal after death.

“One is dead. The other is dead to me.”Sand smirked.“At least until I kill him myself.”

🥅- My muse has been captured by the enemy, and is separated from yours for a very long time. Upon their miraculous return, your muse finds that they are completely different.

Several months prior, Luna had been kidnapped by Token’s government and Lenol hadn’t been there to stop them. He’d been wracked with guilt and dread the whole while. Who knew what they were doing to her? Who knew what they were going to do to him once they got the information they wanted out of her? He couldn’t sleep for more than an hour or two at a time and he’d been hiding in the wilderness, avoiding civilization like the plague. Yet, something had drawn him to Luna’s now vacant house. The last thing he expected to find was his friend collapsed inside.Lenol rushed in and tried to rouse her. After a few shakes, Luna slowly regained consciousness and turned to face him. It was obvious that she taken a lot of abuse as bruises and scars covered her skin. Some patches of hair were seemingly torn out and the rest was filthy. A glance at her wings showed that they had been broken in multiple places. But, what pained Lenol the most and what enraged him the most was her eyes. They were unfocused and dull, looking off in the wrong direction. She couldn’t see him.“Luna!! What have those monsters done to you?!?” She flinched at the noise. “Lenol..? You… I-I…” Tears flowed down her face. “I d-didn’t have anything t-tell them. They couldn’t g-get what they w-wanted.” True to her word, Luna had never looked more into Lenol’s secrets and so she had been utterly useless to her captors. Lenol didn’t know what to say, she’d respected his privacy and this was what it had gotten her. Perhaps, if she had known something, they wouldn’t have tortured her for as long as they had. “Th-then they thought that… if they brought me h-home…” She didn’t have to finish her sentence for him to know where this was going. He whipped around to find armed agents blocking all exits. “I’m s-sorry, Lenol..!” She croaked. “I c-couldn’t warn you!” One of them gave him a swift blow to the head and everything went black.

Luna had been running nonstop for days now. There was a price on her head and plenty of people were willing to do drastic things to get it. She wasn’t able to hide with her bright colors and easy to spot wings. It was really only a matter of time now until they found her.

She tripped on a large root and dislocated her foot. There was no way she would be able to get up, let alone outrun her pursuers. This was the end of the line. A group of bounty hunters quickly surrounded her, making escape impossible. A particularly grizzled man walked over to her, a gun in his hand. “You’ve been charged with an executable offense. How do you plead?”

The truth was that she was completely innocent. She’d never committed the crime she was accused of, in fact she’d never done anything close to it. But she remained silent. The culprit, the real criminal, was a dear friend of hers. They’d made a mistake, a mistake she easily could have made, but there was no proof that could be found of it being anything but intentional. Now people were dead and they would be next. But she couldn’t let that happen. So she’d taken the blame. She’d been running all this time hoping in vain that something could be found to prove her, and her friend’s, innocence. But it was too late, there was no more running. Luna stared the man directly in the eye. She’d always thought dying for someone she loved was the best way to die. “Guilty.” Then her vision cut out and everything faded away.

“No- I am trying to say the child’s existence will /force/ me to get a grip on my fuckup of a life. If I am going to be a parent, I have to be the best I can be. For the child’s good and for my own good.”

((*wheezes* I prolly shoulda put hunger games in the dont-ask list too because it’s been a billion years since I’ve heard that name and I know 0 things about it other than children kill each other.

“Heheh, well, I’ve got one for that.” Luna chuckled a little awkwardly. “When I’m alone, I tend to start singing what I’m doing. To fill the silence, I guess. One time, I started doing it while at work without thinking and Ms. Drawcia heard me. I was so embarrassed..!” She put her face in her nubs at the memory.

After the Robobot incident, though most of the robotization was immediately reversed after the defeat of Star Dream, some evidence of its occurrence still remained on the landscape. Dreamlanders took the remaining bits of scrapped machines and repurposed it over the course of a few months. Occasionally, you can spot something like a part of a fence or a bridge with the Haltmann logo, though it’s also common to see it scratched out.
