Meanwhile, Dovefoot and Hazelpaw aren’t really meshing as well as Dovefoot would hope. He is a chatterbox and Hazelpaw … is not.

Very simple page so I got it out quickly. Hazelpaw is definitely my favourite cat to draw, I think, even if colouring him takes more time. He is just so pretty!

Not sure if it’s “bad practice” or like bad for the algorithm to post these at whatever hour and if I shouldn’t post them as soon as I finish them but. Alas! I’m too impatient to wait to share.

I was going to withhold this page till next week but since I finished it fast and I felt bad for how long it’s taken me to get them out, I thought I’d post it now! Enjoy!

I am so sorry for the inconsistency with the backgrounds, I got a new iPad between the first few pages and now so I don’t have all the brushes I used to. And I’m not great at backgrounds LOL. Still learning to do speech bubbles and dialogue, especially because I tend to be wordier with speech than here. I might start doing the shorter speech I do on pages and elaborate under the cuts? Not sure.

Anyway, expect simpler pages with one or two panels interspersed with these more standard comic pages. It’ll depend on the interactions and how much story I can squish into them. Also for the sake of time and energy it is helpful.

I am so sorry it took me a million years to post this, hopefully page 6 won’t take me so long. I have it sketched out already. I am going to probably do more simple backgrounds unless the panel really demands focus on them for the sake of time and my sanity.
