ON- дата(будь-яка+дата народження);день тижня;on weekends;свята(святкові дні).

IN- місяць;пора року;час доби;рік народження;все що відбудеться через якийсь проміжок часу(вказуємо з цим часом);століття.

At- стосується точного часу; at night(виняток); at the weekend, релігійні свята.

During- під час(я спостерігала за спортсменами протягом гри= I followed by the spotsmen during the game).

For- протягом;як довго це буде тривати?; for a mouth; використовуємо у Perfect.I will teaching English for 7 years.

Over- теж протягом;протягом якого часу?; We expect rise prices over next year. I will stay home over the weekend.

Since- з певного часу;

By(by the time)- з часом; I will do my homework by 8 p.m.(By the time I went to school, I had been studying at the kindergarten.).

Before- до; я вивчу Шевченка до Різдва= I will teach Shevchenko's poem before Christmas.

To- години; ten to nine.

Past/after- години;6 minutes past nine.

From(/To/Till/Until)- The shop works till six.
