Sara quietly opened tucked away the odd little jar she'd been examining into one of her desk drawers. "Of course, dear! Did someone help you catch and reprogram the coffeemaker? Last I heard it'd gotten loose down in Marketing."

A New Face

Sara carefully cleared her schedule for the next couple of hours. She wanted to be sure she had all the time she needed to figure out who this young lady was and what she was after. No one willingly cleans out a place like that and remains cheerful after doing so unless they've got ulterior motives.

She would know. She'd been that intern.

Well, she'd know soon enough.

"Squad," she said, raising her voice so they'd hear her through the door. "The intern who cleared out the upstairs office is coming. Be sure to menace her extra thoroughly, okay? She might become my assistant."

With her schedule cleared and security alerted, she sent a message to Rosemary:

Report to my office immediately.

H-hello? Ms. Hamilton?? This is your blog right? I LIKE IT! It's so eye-numbingly bright!! Anyway I was wondering if maybe you hadn't found anyone to clean the office upstairs yet, if I could do it for you, because I don't have anything better to do. -newstrexintern

No, the office has not been cleaned yet. Please get to it. I expect it to be spotless by the end of the day. I have plans for it.
