We deeply appreciate Sweden’s decision regarding Gripen fighter jets, which will significantly strengthen Ukraine’s ability to defend our people from Russian attacks. The first step includes the possibility of purchasing up to 20 Gripen E/F aircraft, while Sweden will additionally provide 16 Gripen C/D fighter jets as part of bilateral assistance.
We also thank [Sweden] for supporting the development of integrated air defence capabilities, cooperation within the Drone Deal framework, defence industry partnership, and other crucial aid!
