Hey guys! After over a year of nex being open and having great members come in and out of the group, we’ve come to the decision to make it into a closed rp. This essentially means that members already in the group can drop and apply for characters as they usually would, but that nex is not accepting any new members, at least for the time being. This means activity on the main will slow down a ton --- --- so, if you aren’t in our group chats, please message me at angelicaschuyler or Jack at socioaf and we’ll add you in so we can all continue to be the best rp in the tags, even if we aren’t in them anymore. Members: if you have friends or writing partners you want to have join us, please message one of us and we’ll almost always say yes to them joining. These apps, as well as apps from existing members, will be the only apps we accept.

Hey guys! We’ve noticed an ongoing trend, especially with members that have been here for a long time, that people are inactive for weeks and even months at a time, come on to occasionally post a starter, but never really do replies, etc. We’ve decided that since the one year anniversary of nex is coming on, and we want it to last even longer, that we’re not going to be accepting this kind of activity anymore as being considered “active” no matter your seniority in the group. The activity limit is still, and has been since the start, three days. If you need an hiatus, please inform us of your situation so we can be more lenient/make sure we don’t re-open your role. Hiatuses, starting now, can only last two-three weeks max to ensure that people don’t go on a semi-hiatus and continue the kind of activity we’ve been seeing when they’re “active”. No matter how long you’ve been in the roleplay, this applies to everyone. Once you have been reopened for inactivity, you will only be accepted back into the roleplay twice again, for a total of three times in the roleplay, i.e the three strike rule. Please like this post so we know you’ve seen it.

okay so, i’ve already said this in the kik group chat ( and if you’re not in it you definitely should be ! ) seeing as i’m leaving for a week, & a lot of people got exams etc. i think it’s for the best if we just let everyone be inactive for a while, not to the point of straight up quitting the roleplay but so y’all don’t feel the need to force yourself to be on when you’re busy, you know ? a lot of people have already taken hiatuses because exams so why not, right ? anyways, activity cheks won’t be made for a week, & the main might be a bit sluggish ( depending on how much time meredith has got on her hands ) but the roleplay is not dying or being shut down !! anyways, when i get back next week ( i honestly don’t even know what day, that’s how amazing i am ) i will post a sort of end to the plot drop, & i’ll give everyone another day or two to get on their character accounts before making an activity check. so in short, you’re all more than allowed to be on & make replies but no one’s going to hold your activity ( or lack thereof ) against you. and like i said, if you’re not in the group chat ( the hashtag for it on kik is the same as the roleplay ) you definitely should, seeing as although we might not be able to get on between exams or work or whatever, we should at least keep on talking to each other !! anyways, that’s all i wanted to say, really. i’ll see you lovelies again next week !!
